Melanie Anderson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University in NYC with a BFA in Musical Theater in 2007. Since then, she has worked in almost every area of the business, including acting, directing, casting, producing, choreography, costumes, lighting design and teaching. Her passion for performing started at a very young age and she enjoys the creative process within every facet of the business. She spent six years teaching high school theater arts classes in South Jersey before becoming a resident teaching artist for local performing arts studios. Her students were recently highlighted in the Emmy Award winning documentary "I Can't...I Have Rehearsal," and have been recognized by Bucks County Playhouse, Papermill Playhouse's Rising Star Awards and The South Jersey Theater Festival for achievements in high school musical theater.

Melanie is now offering private acting lessons for the camera as well as musical theater audition technique. She is also available for private college preparation coaching for those students interested in applying to the most prestigious musical theater schools in the country.

Introducing an exciting scholarship opportunity for high school sophomores!

Very exciting news for my private students! Students will now have the opportunity to consult with Tara Novie, a NYC based actress and singer. Tara recently completed her MFA in Acting and is extremely passionate about teaching the importance of story telling through song and always performing from the heart. She will be consulting with my private students through Skype and video/written feedback on filmed material. She will be an incredible asset for any young performer who is looking to expand their range and be challenged emotionally. So I am beyond thrilled to add Tara as my very first company consultant
